How “Christian Girl’s Trip” was formed

In the past, traveling for me, was an escape. An escape from every day life, a chance to turn up, to not think and to live life on the edge. I couldn’t imagine going out the country and not drinking, not clubbing, not letting loose in all ways. It almost seemed like a waste. In February of 2024, when I came back to my relationship with God, I let all those old ways pass away. April of 2024 was my first alcohol, drug and party-free trip I’ve ever taken and it was a completely new experience for me. I struggled on that trip with all the influences around me from the people I was with, and decided on that trip, that going forward, I would only travel with other women who were interested in putting God first, even when they travelled. That’s when my idea for a yearly Christian Girl’s Trip came to life.

I’ve learned that when like-minded women come together with shared hobbies and purpose, it can create beautiful experiences. Traveling is one of the ways that I experience not only the world, but God’s creation in all aspects, and I want other Christian women joining me on these once in a lifetime trips. I’ve partnered with the black-woman owned travel agency Luxe Tribes, to curate a yearly international girl’s trip for women in the faith. Our first trip was to Bali, Indonesia in July 2025 and it was a top three trip for me and all the other ladies who came. We talked about our faith, were on the same page with what we wanted to do and had an adventure filled itinerary.

I believe in inviting the Lord to every area my life, including celebrations, business and every new experience. These trips aren’t about a turn up, drinking or “escaping life”. These intentionally planned trips are about having fun, being in community and most importantly putting God first in all things. I want you there on our next trip!
